+ Are bounce houses safe?
Yes! Our units are constructed of industrial grade vinyl and flame retardant materials. As long as riders are supervised and safety instructions are followed, there should be no problems. Injuries occur when riders are left unattended. Having said that, bumps and bruises are to be expected due to the nature of bounce houses.
+ What do I need to do to reserve a bounce house?
Set your date and party time. Pick out a level location that is free of rocks, debris and animal droppings. Make sure there is at least a 20x20 area of clearance with overhead clearance of at least 20 feet. A slide will require a 15x30 area clearance with 24 feet overhead. All selected areas should be away from utilities, waterfronts and pools. Call us as soon as possible to reserve a date with the following information: first/last name, complete address, telephone number, date and time of party. Delivery time varies based on the number of deliveries for that day.
+ When is the payment due?
The payment is due in full at the time of delivery and setup. We accept cash or check (made out to A+ Bounce) as of now.
+ Do you require a deposit?
At this time we do not. We may in the future. However, if an inquiry is made for the same date, time and unit we will call the first inquiry for a 50% deposit to hold the date. It is first come, first serve.
+ Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery is FREE within Union County. We do service other areas, though some may incur a fuel surcharge.
Matthews - $10.00
Charlotte - $15.00 - $20.00 (depending on area)
Rock Hill, SC - $20.00
Huntersville - $25.00
Concord - $30.00
These are just quotes, please call for accurate pricing.
+ Is there a cleaning charge?
Cleaning charges will only be applied if there is blatant disregard to rules set forth at drop off (NO FOOD, DRINKS, GUM, PETS or SILLY STRING allowed in inflatables). All you need to do is to try to keep the units reasonably clean. Concession machines can be wiped down with a damp cloth or paper towel. We will take care of the deep cleaning and sanitation.
+ What am I responsible for?
Adhering to safety guidelines and operations are a MUST! Supervision by an individual 18 years of age or older MUST be present at all times. You are also responsible for keeping the unit reasonably clean and safe from damage. The cost of each unit will be noted on the rental agreement should the unit be severely damaged while in your possession.
+ Do I run the blower at all times?
The blower is what keeps the bounce house or slide inflated. If the parents need a break or the riders need to rest simply make sure all riders exit safely then turn off the switch. To inflate the units just turn the switch on and wait approximately 3-5 minutes.
+ Do you carry insurance?
Yes, A+ Bounce is a fully insured North Carolina corporation. We can provide our Certificate of Insurance upon request. Additional insurance may be required in public places such as parks, etc. This will need to be arranged in advance.
+ Can I pick up the unit?
For the safety of the participants this is not an option. Our staff is required to deliver, setup and remove all units.
+ What if there is inclement weather?
We will call you and will cancel the setup. We will try to work out an alternative day if both parties are able to work it out. If the weather changes after delivery and payment is made there will be no refund.
+ What kind of power do we need?
Each unit requires a 110V GFCI outlet. There should be no other items plugged into the outlet and it should be no more than 100 feet from where the unit will be setup. We supply drop cords if they are required. Should there be a setting where an outlet is not present or does not meet the above standards we will provide a generator for an additional charge.
+ Are bounce houses, moonwalks and inflatables the same thing?
Yes they are all one in the same.
